Broadoaks Country House Wedding

This was my first visit to the beautiful Broadoaks Country House in the Lake District. It was crisp, clear winters day for the wedding of the fabulous Andy & Rachel. Rocking up to this traditional English venue with the blue skies overhead I knew we were in for a brilliant day!

Following a morning of preparations and a lovely wedding ceremony Andy and Rachel mingled with their guests before we braved the cold weather for a few portraits in the gorgeous grounds. Back in the warmth of the venue the guests were preparing for a unique wedding breakfast. This was the first time in my 15 years as a wedding photographer that I had had the pleasure of photographing a murder mystery during the wedding breakfast. What an experience it was. The team on hand were the very talented After Dark Murder Mystery and what a quality job they did!

This was such a lovely wedding held at such a stunning venue and I had a great time photographing it.
