Lytham Family Photographer - Surprise 80th Birthday

I was contacted by the lovely Nicola asking if I would be available to come and capture a surprise 80th Birthday celebration for her Gran in Lytham. Being a documentary family photographer this sounded right up my street and I was immediately on board!

The wonderful Margaret was turning 80 and Nicola and the rest of her family had planned a secret gathering to celebrate this magnificent milestone. Margaret had absolutely no idea what was planned and that her family were travelling from all over the UK in order to surprise her a celebrate her birthday with her.

I was on hand for her arrival at the Air B&B in Lytham and she was absolutely made up to see everyone there. Some factions of her family had been delayed due traffic travelling from the south but that made the surprise appearances ongoing and staggered the celebrations for her.

It was such a pleasure to capture this event and meet Margaret, Nicola and all of their family.
