James and Holly’s Marquee Wedding in Lancashire

The sun was certainly shining for James and Holly’s marquee wedding. I arrived with James and his groomsmen, at his parents house in Tarleton, early in the morning. After a substantial breakfast the boys took to the garden for a kick-about and a bit of cricket before heading back inside to make the transformation to Groom and Groomsmen.

A short drive away Holly and her bridesmaids were in the full swing of make-up, hair and practicing their dance routine for the coming evening!

Once ready Holly set off to meet her husband-to-be at St. Michael and All Angels Church in Croston for their wedding ceremony. After a beautiful church ceremony their guests lined the path leading to the church, armed with handfuls of confetti, ready to shower the newlyweds.

The wedding reception was in a marquee back at James’ parents home. Slowly but surely the wedding guests arrived and welcomed the new Mr and Mrs as they entered the grounds to cheers, hugs and high fives.

The rest of the day was filled with lots of amazing food, plenty of booze and serious amounts of laughter and dancing.

Karl and Amy’s Wedding at Preston Marriott

The first time I met Karl and Amy at their house I instantly warmed to them. After spending an hour or so with them I knew their wedding at Preston Marriott was going be fantastic. Karl and Amy have two awesome little boys, one of which turned 3 on the wedding day and the other was Karls best man! This little family are so down to earth and full of love and life. Right up my street!

Their wedding day was ridiculously sunny August day at the Preston Marriott. My day started out with Amy at her parents house. It was lovely to catch up with the wonderful Jo Coole Make-Up Artist who, as always, did a fantastic job. After leaving Amy I head to the wedding venue to meet up with Karl. He was, as most grooms are, feeling a mixture of nerves and excitement and he couldn’t wait to see his Bride-to-be!

The day was a lovely mixture of fun, giggles and good times. As we had such lovely weather there was plenty of playing on the expanse of open space the Marriott has to offer. The day for me was very chilled with lots of lovely interactions and plenty of fun moments. It was made even better with the arrival of the awesome PC Roadshows who kept all the guests entertained throughout dinner!

I was lucky enough to hang out with these three cousins at Brockholes Nature Reserve in Preston recently. We played, we wandered and we laughed.

I was recently back at one of the North Wests top wedding venues, Bartle Hall, documenting the wedding of Adam and Sarah. They are such a beautiful, happy couple and along with their two awesome little dudes make a wonderfully lovely and happy family. They are all about fun and smiles and that showed throughout the day. Even when Sarah decked it late on in the day caking her dress she laughed and rocked it.

Their Bartle Hall wedding was filled with fun, laughter, Jägerbombs, mud and kids being kids. I had so much fun with them and it was such a pleasure to be back at Bartle Hall. There were so many fantastic moments throughout the day and I have picked some of my favourites below. As usual there was very minimal posing from me and I just let the day run it’s course, this allowed for much more fun and unpredictability.

WINTER WEDDING AT BARTLE HALL

Chris and Lyndsey’s Bartle Hall wedding was the first of 4 back to back weddings I shot between Christmas and New Year. What a way to start a wedding marathon it was.

The lead-up to the wedding day had seen the North West covered with rain and wind for weeks so I wasn’t optimistic for the weather on the day. Crazy things happen though and the 4 days I shot in between Christmas and New Year were riddled with sunshine.  I’ll take a bit of wedding sun any day of the week.

My day started out with the Chris and his groomsmen before heading to Bartle Hall to meet up with Lyndsey and the rest of the Bridal Party. Lyndsey had the awesome Emma Coppock from Wedding Belles on make-up duty and the crazy-talented Flower Design creating some floral magic. For me, preps are such a great way for everyone to get used to me being around. I love becoming integrated into the inner circles so that I can capture some really cool and intimate moments for my couples.

The day itself was so much fun, from the ceremony all the way to the evening reception, the day was filled with fun, laughter, love and some serious dancing. Chris and Lyndsey are so easy to be around. I do very little posing on the wedding day as I don’t want to stop and start the day. As Chris and Lyndsey had a pre-wedding shoot with me earlier in the year I believe this definitely helped them feel more comfortable and relaxed in front of the camera. We managed to get out into the gardens at Barrtle Hall for some portraits before the winter sunset and led us into the night.

The guests were kept entertained by the insanely talented Matt Johnson during and after the wedding breakfast. After Chris and Lyndsey’s first dance as husband and wife, the craziness began with the dancefloor filled and shirts being thrown.

Bartle Hall is one of my favourite North West venues to shoot at. I can’t thank Chris and Lyndsey enough for having me along to capture their winter wedding at Bartle Hall.

I absolutely love these guys! They are by far one of the coolest couples I’ve had the pleasure of shooting.

Their summer wedding at The Villa in Wrea Green was so much fun. It had everything that makes my job enjoyable…style, love, sun, alcohol, loud music and crazy cool shades!

Congratulations guys. Amounts of love coming at you both

Ribby Hall Wedding Photography - David & Laura

It’s been way too long since I’ve shot at Ribby Hall Village, so it was an absolute treat to be back there recently for the wedding of David and Laura.

David and Laura booked me quite a while back to be their Ribby Hall Wedding Photographer. After meeting up with them again a few weeks before the wedding it reminded me just how much fun this was going to be.

We spent the whole day on the village with the boys getting ready at the uber cool Villa Nova and the girls in the stunning White House. I had such an incredible day with these guys and their crazy friends and family. Thanks for having me along and for being so much fun!
